The shorter the distances, the fresher the products. Chef Richard Hessl buys 80% of the food from within 70 kilometers. Fish from the Wörthersee. Wagyu beef from the Lavant valley. Bread from the local bakery. Vegetables from local fields. Everything full of maturity and full of flavor.
A delight for the eyes and the palate in the La Terrasse restaurant
Seefels guests dine on what is probably the most beautiful lake terrace in Austria in summer. In the cooler seasons, the restaurant decorated in the colours bordeaux, chamois, pink and terracotta create a restrained elegance and give full attention to a very special gem, the wine climate room with 700 bottles of red wine, white wine and Champagne.

3 Gault Millau toques, 3 Falstaff forks and 3 Slow Food Carinthian snails say everything about the excellent and consistent quality. Hotel guests order à la carte, a 4-course menu of the day or put together their own menu of choice from our à la carte menu.
Porto Bello & Lounge
Design hotspot by the lake
Anyone who knows the Porto Bello from the past will hardly recognize it: everything is new and different. The terraces, the seating, the kitchen, the colors and the atmosphere in the restaurant and lounge. The motto is “Carinthia, a modern interpretation”. And that theme runs through the architecture, through the design and colors, to the kitchen and clothing of the employees.
Pasta and fish in the Porto Bello lake restaurant
It’s cool and exciting on the new terrace by the hotel’s own marina. True to the motto, the kitchen is interpreted in a modern Carinthian style. In the Lohberger kitchen, delicious pasta and fish dishes are prepared under the direction of head chef Richard Hessl. The pasta is homemade with a new pasta machine. The fish comes fresh from lake Wörthersee.
Favorite places on the balcony, at the bar and in the lounge
It sits sublime on the balcony above the terraces. And the feeling of floating arises a little – above things, above the water, closer to the sky. Probably the new favorite place for many, if it weren’t for the casual lounge and bar à la Harrods. Here, as there, you can eat very casually: small snacks or light summer dishes from the Alps-Adriatic cuisine. And of course there is a large selection of classic, trendy and cool drinks for a romantic sundowner at the most beautiful spot on lake Wörthersee.
