Fontvieille und Hafen von Monte-Carlo in Monaco

Fontvieille ist ein eigener Stadtteil im Fürstentum Monaco an der Côte d’Azur, in welchem sich auch das Fußballstadion sowie ein eigener Hafen befinden. Fontvieille ist der jüngste Teil von Monaco, grenzt an die monegassischen Stadtbezirke Jardin Exotique, La Condamine und Monaco-Ville sowie an die französische Gemeinde Cap-d’Ail und ist praktisch vollständig auf künstlich aufgeschüttetem Terrain errichtet.

Fontvieille and Harbor of Monte-Carlo in Monaco

Fontvieille is an own district in Monaco in which you can find the soccer stadium and an own harbor. It is the newest part of Monaco and borders  on the district of Jardin Exotique, La Condamine and Monaco-Ville, as well as Cap d’Ail in France. Another interesting fact about Fontvieille is that is is build completely on artificially elevated ground.
