About me
My name is Daniel Waschnig and I grew up in Cape Town, South Africa. A few years ago I moved to Klagenfurt in Austria, where i have been living for the last couple of years.

At the Alpen-Adria University I completed my Media- and Communications studies and started with my masters degree in Media and Convergence Management.

I love doing sports and spend most of my free time playing soccer, tennis or other ball sports. I invest most of my money in travelling and in technical equipment.

Photography

After starting out as an image retoucher, I got more and more fascinated by photography.

For me photography is a way to create perfection, which is not possible in everyday life. With good preparation it is possible to create an image right down to the last detail.

As a photographer I have specialized in the commercial lifestyle, business and fashion photography.

In addition to my commissioned work, I am also building a stock portfolio at many of the major stock-photography agencies worldwide. The idea of stock photography is to produce images with a commercial value, so that these are offered and sold to clients all around the world.
